The Student Government Association, Inc. is a student-run corporation that includes within its structure different services to meet the needs of the undergraduate student body. This includes, but is not limited to, providing discounted services, organizing student programming, and promoting student advocacy. The SGA also charters all student run organizations on campus, which program the majority of campus activities. These events range from music concerts, theatrical events, publications, to cultural awareness events. The SGA motto is "Your Campus, Your Ideas, Your SGA."
 

Formed in 1925 as "The Student Council" and incorporated in 1934 as "The Student Government Association," the SGA. Office is located in the Student Center Annex, Room 103, and their phone number is (973) 655-4202. The SGA is composed of the three separate but equal bodies, the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial branches.
